The front of Digital Art -DMM.PLANETS
Hello, I am owner of FEEL TOKYO.
Typhoon is approaching to Japan again, and unstable weather continues recently.
I have been to the themapark of Fuji Television held in Odaiba named
‘Odaiba Minna no Yumeno Tairiku 2016’ (A World of Wonders) which is took placed every summer.
フジTVの夏の恒例イベント、お台場夢の大陸2016へ行ってきました。
The main target is “DMM.PLANETS Art by team Lab”
It’s the front of Digital Art. The venu is 3,000㎡ which is 6 times as DMM last year.
お目当てはチームラボのDMMプラネッツ。
デジタルアートの最前線です！去年の6倍の3000㎡という規模。
As typhoon was approaching at evening of the day, it was not so crowded as imagined.
I was able to enter in 30 mins. We are requested to puf off socks and
weather protection smartphone cover are handed out.
It seems below the knee are going to be wet.
靴下を脱がされ、スマホの防水カバーが配られます。
膝下まで濡れるようです。
(*) On 21st August, the peak waiting time was 210 mins.
Wander through the Crystal Universe
LED curtains surrounded by mirror wall and floor appears.
The particles of light are digitally controlled, and change based on the viewer’s interactivity with the work.
I see lights at all directions and feel as if I am surrounded by the universe of light.
Mirror floor gives me the comfortable coolness.
LED のカーテンになっていて壁と床は鏡。光の宇宙に包まれるような感覚に。
光の点の集合で作品がつくられ、デジタルで制御することでインタラクティブに動きます。
床がひんやり気持ちよいです。
Viewers can interact with the work by using their smartphones to select elements
that make up the Crystal Universe by reading QR code （http://dmmplanets2016.team-lab.com/）
The light pattern can be created by ourselves. Very cool !
The viewer’s position within the artwork also influences how the work is created,
thus the artwork is continuously changing.
Lights runs up and down, turns to bright and dark, change tones…
We can enjoy changing apperance.
スマホと連動していてQRコードにアクセスすると
自分で選んだ光のエレメントをリリースさせることができるのがすごいところ。
エレメント同士は互いに影響を受け、空間内の鑑賞者の存在にも影響を受けるので
あたりは光が上下に動き、明るくなったり暗くなったり、
色が変わったり、刻々と表情を変えていきます。
Infinity / Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People
We enter into the place like small pool and can walk around. It is very cold…(nice in this season though)
The reflection of carps and flowers are floating on the water surface.Fantastic !
The interaction between the viewer and the installation causes continuous change in the artwork.
小さなプールのようなところへ入っていくと
水面に鯉や花が映し出されています。とても幻想的です。
（すごく冷たかった・・・）
鑑賞者の存在に影響を受けながら、作品は変化していきます。
When swiming digital carp collide with people,they turn into scattered flowers !
What kind of technology is it on earth?
泳いでいる鯉は人にぶつかると、花びらになって散っていきます。
一体どういう技術なのでしょうか。
Floating in the Filling Univers of Flowers
The dome like planetarium is waiting for us next.
Lie down and see above, then we see the shower of digital images of flowers one after another.
次はプラネタリウムみたいなところへ。
寝転んで見上げると映像の花が次々に降り注ぎます。
The cool feature of this installation is also link with one’s smartphone through QR code.
Viewer can create one’s batterfly on smartphone and tap that batterfly on the screen,
then the batterfly are released and flies in the real world ! Amazing !
The work is rendered in real time by a computer program.
ここのゾーンのすごいところもスマホとの連動。
QRコードをアクセスすると自分の蝶を作ることが出来ます。
画面上の蝶を指でなぞると、蝶が現実世界に飛び出してパタパタと飛びます！
作品はコンピュータプログラムによってリアルタイムで描かれ続けてます。
These arts created by DMM are not just watching but we become a part of the work.
Enjoy and Feel, it was brand new style art.
このDMMの作品は鑑賞するのではなく自分自身が作品の一部になったかのような
体験する新しいスタイルのアートでした。
