If you want to experience authentic sushi in Japan, Kyubey (銀座 久兵衛) established in 1935 is the place to go. Although it is not easy for beginner to enter into expensive sushi restaurant, Kyubey has atmosphere that beginner feel easy to enter. Sushi chef slightly changes the size of rice to match sushi topping perfectly. Professional !

Sushi of Uobei are all reasonable 108JPY !Order by touch panel and sushi will come to you with hig speed in a lane. Expensive ingredient are not at menu, but you can experience the latest sushi-go-round system.They also offer side menu of udon noodles and pasta etc.

Owariya (尾張屋) is tempura and soba, buckwheat noodles restaurant located in Asakusa since 1870. Soba with fried tempura for 1400yen, rice ball with fried tempura is 1500 yen. Large shrimp exceeding the ball is worthy to try. Seasonable soba which changes flavor and color according to the season is also recommedation. Even though in peak time, seat is rotated quickly.

Sarashinano sato

If you wish to try authentic soba, buckwheat noodles, I high recommend Tsukiji Sarasinano no Sato (築地さらしなの里) who has been making hand-made soba since 1899. They examine producing area according to the season and select good quality soba made in Japan. Standard soba menu is 4 kinds which are differ in sweetness, flavor and color. Also seasonable soba using seasonable ingredient is unique.Flavor is tea in May, tomato in July, chestnut in October etc. Pot dish of chicken (Course starting at 4,200yen) is also recommended. You can feel warmth by wooden with Japanese atmosphere.
