Trip to Hakone (1st day)
Waked up the folllowing day, and I walked down to Ashinoko Lake（芦ノ湖）
It was beautiful weather.

Excursion boats come and go in Ashinoko lake

I will go up this Mt.Komagatake（駒ヶ岳) by ropeway.
この駒ヶ岳に登ります。
I reached the top in about 7 mins.
The view of Ashinoko Lake is overlooked.
約７分で頂上へ。眼下には芦ノ湖が広がります。
Mt.Fuji can be seen. It was cloudy on this day though.
ちょっと曇っていましたが富士山も見えました。
It is only 1 degree Celsius at the top of mountain. Very cold and windy !
But the awesome view is spread out in front of me.
山頂は気温1℃で寒かったですが、絶景です。
Character of Hakone is consisted of “Hako” (箱）and “Ne”(根).
根(Ne）means 嶺(Mine) or mountain, and 箱(Hako) means box.
It is said that the origin of Hakone’s name is the shape of Mt.Komagatake is like a box.
箱根という名前の由来は、「ね」は嶺、つまり山を表していて
「はこ」は駒ヶ岳の形が箱に似ているからだそうです。
There is a shrine at Mt.Komagatake.
After going down to the base of Mt.Komagatake, my kid enjoyed playing with sled at snow playgroud.
駒ヶ岳のふもとで娘は雪遊びを満喫しました。
We dropped by Soba noodle restaurant at the base of Mt.Komagatake ropeway for lunch.
ふもとにあるお蕎麦やさんで美味しいお蕎麦を頂きました。

Hello, I am owner of FEEL TOKYO.
Recently, temperature goes up and down every few days. It’s difficult to decide what to wear tomorrow.
To freshen up, I have been to hot spring in Hakone.
It took almost 2 hours and a half by car. It is also accesiable by train names Odakyu Romace car
within 85 mins from Shinjuku to Hakone Yumoto. Hakone is a very popular place for short trip from Tokyo.
疲れをとるために箱根の温泉へ行ってきました。車で２時間半くらい。
箱根は小田急ロマンスカーを使えば新宿から85分でも行けます。

Hanging dolls welcomed us at the front desk.
つるし雛が出迎えてくれました
This hotel is as if floating on lake. Surrounded by lake, I spended tranquil moment.
Garden pool is open in summer season.

Another main feature of Hotel Harvest Koshien is dinner buffet.
Grand buffet including one main dish is JPY5,940 per person.
I enjoyed seasonable dishes with superb quality.
夜のビュッフェもこのホテルの人気の一つ。季節を感じる絶品のお料理でした。

It’s the day to pray for healthy growth and happiness for young girls.
Most families with girls display dolls called Hina-ningyo. I have prepared.
