Colored leaves and vortex in Kamakura

 

Hello, I am owner of FEEL TOKYO.

Leaves turning red and yellow in Kamakura is little bit late compare with the leaves in the central of Tokyo.

I went to see them last weekend.

鎌倉の紅葉が色づくのは都内より少し遅めなので

先週鎌倉へ行ってきました。

 

When I arrived at Kita Kamakura (北鎌倉）station around 9:30am, there are already many tourists.

Enkakuji (円覚寺）at the front of Kitakamakura station welcomed us.

北鎌倉駅に着くと円覚寺がお迎え。

 

 

 

 

Leaves tinted was beautiful.

 

 

 

 

 

The way to Meigetsu-in (明月院）

Meigestuin is famous for its ‘The window to enlightenment’.

Photographers were in long line to take picture.

明月院の「悟りの窓」で有名です。写真を撮るのに長蛇の列。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I walked toward Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine for about 30 minutes, and arrived at the rear gate of the shrine.

鶴岡八幡宮まで歩くこと30分。

Air was very clear and I strongly felt vortex under the large ginko tree.As per I surveyed about the vortex of this shrine, there used to be 800～1000 year-old ginko tree which was failed by strong wind in 2010 but grew again with strong power of live at this place. It is said that this ginko tree is one of the vortex in this shrine.

 

空気がとても澄んでいて大きな銀杏の木の下にパワーを感じました。

調べてみると、樹齢800～1000年の銀杏の木が2010年の強風で倒れるまでこの場所にあり
強い生命力で再生し、この銀杏の木は鶴岡八幡宮のパワースポットになっていました。

 

 

 

 

Japanese traditional wedding took place.

 

 

As shopping through Komachi-Dori, head for Kamakura station.

小町通りをぶらぶらしながら鎌倉駅へ

 

 

 

Hato sabre (pegion cookie) must to buy !

It’s simple taste I have known since I am a child.

鳩サブレはマストです。

 

 

I drop by Yokohama Minatomirai for lunch  and shopping on the way from Kamakura.

帰りに横浜みなとみらいに寄りました。
